Rohini College of Engineering and Technology (RCET), Variyoor was established in 2008 with the objectives of promoting specialized technical education in the field of engineering, construction and planning for the needy students.The institution strives to bring out and nurture the talents and skills of youth with quality technical education, motivate them to be self-disciplined and develop their competence to face the challenges of globalization.

The goal of the institution is to enhance the commitment of faculty, staff, and students to the centrality of diversity, social justice, and democratic citizenship and leadership in the development of collaborative, professional relationships with schools, organizations, and other institutions focused on the improvement of education in schools, communities, and workplace settings.

The mission of the college is to help prepare outstanding educators, scholars, and researchers, and to advance the profession of education, as broadly defined, through research on the science and art of teaching and learning, the application of clinical processes, the effective uses of technology, and the analysis and development of leadership and educational policy.

RCET Chairman Message:-

I have been actively involved right from the inception of this great Institution, starting from the preparation of Engineering drawings, obtaining approval from the concerned authorities. Civil work, construction of the buildings etc. Utmost care has been given in the construction of the buildings, keeping in mind, the comforts and facilities needed for the students. Spacious Laboratories and class rooms were constructed and are well furnished with the equipments and furnitures. AICTE and Anna University norms have been taken as a guide line for building construction and Anna University syllabus has been taken as a guide line for equipping the laboratories.
