Rungta College of Engineering and Technology, Raipur was established in 2009. The college is affiliated to the Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education. From day one RCET, Raipur will have it all, sound management, experienced team of faculties, same strong training & placement cell plus all the intellectual capital the group has generated from other three engineering colleges of the group.Being located in the Capital, the group plans to make it a landmark in the field of technical education for everyone to marvel at as the most modern, hi tech institute with a global perspective. The college initially will offer undergraduate programs in engineering stream with computer science engineering, electronics & telecommunication engg., mechanical engg. and civil engineering branches and would subsequently add other programs, branches of engineering, business administration as well.

About RCET M.E/M.Tech Course :-

Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.
